The mindfulness and resilience workshop that Reena delivered for us was engaging, interactive and practical. Reena’s pace and style of delivery was pitched just right for our audience. Feedback from staff highlighted that they felt they had been introduced to new tools and techniques which can be applied in their personal and professional lives. An excellent workshop that we are now rolling out across the business.
Reena is an inspirational doctor who uses her own story to connect with others. Having had experience of working in the NHS she is able to understand the specific needs of healthcare professionals and the unique challenges they face with regards to looking after their own health and wellbeing. We had Reena come in as part of Mental Health Awareness Week to speak about Mindfulness and Resilience. Everyone who attended the session had positive feedback. We are a Gaming company and so the fact that Reena is a medic and looked at it from a neuroscience perspective went down well with our employees. I would highly recommend Reena. The presentation was engaging with a good mixture of slides and activities to get people involved. We will certainly be asking Reena to come back in the future to do another session for those that missed it.
As part of the Trust’s approach to improving the mental wellbeing of our staff Dr Reena Kotecha ran an oversubscribed, highly interactive 8-week mindfulness course which provided practical tools and techniques to improve stress management and increase engagement and performance on a personal level. Reena’s approach is very engaging and supportive and she brought with her a wealth of knowledge in this field.
